Re: R R E OCA 1919
Hello everyone,
I have just recently acquired another old comrades badge which mystifies me as I've been told its the Royal Engineers, when I queried what the other R stood for, I was told it stood for Regiment. I must admit I am still a little puzzled, can anyone help and identify this as I'm reasonably sure It's military. I'm sure that with this forums wealth of knowledge, someone will know or at least have an idea. I look forward to hearing from anyone. Many thanks. I think there may be a clue in the thistle ( Renfrew or another Scottish place/area beginning with "R" perhaps ).
There is a title T/RE/RENFREWSHIRE ( mentioned but not illustrated in Westlakes "Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles " P.B.
