Unknown L.I. Bugle Badge Austrian Knott?

Hi once again am going to list this unknown Bugle with Austrian Knott, it has been suggested this was American Civil War period but the American Forum say it isn't anything American but British!

With the Bugle it has to be Light Infantry a pouch badge because of the 3 lugs? or could this have been an Arm-badge? Is it British? (the lugs suggest British). It is Copper with Silver Plating!

I have seen something similar that I recall my have an Irish connection?

I'm not expert, so perhaps someone may be able to elaborate.
