I think this chap might be wearing the IoC VRC badge by the looks of it.

I don’t suppose there’s a chance of a higher res scan of the badge only?

Why on earth would you suppose that? Difficult to get a decent enlargement though.

Yeah, I’d say that is the IoC VRC badge, though it doesn’t necessarily mean this is a pre-1908 photo. I have pictures of chaps showing both VRC and OTC badges being worn in the same photos. I assume it was the old ‘using up of existing stock’ scenario in the case of my photos though.

Note the letters R C under the Inns of Court.
Size- approx 32mm
