OK, it's been a while....... I was set the challange of supplying the music at the office on Monday morning, with strict orders that it has got to be from the 1970's

Anyway, whilst going through what I was going to do to show the young whippersnappers what is what, it suddenly occurred to me that no one had mentioned this masterpiece. So good, that the late, great John Peel played it twice.....

Lay back and enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPzyN8Qq5XA

One year, someone where I was working decided to put together a compilation of Christmas songs to play in the office in the run up to Christmas.

Everyone was invited to contribute with a few choices but I was banned. Apparently my musical taste isn't mainstream enough!

Yeah, but let's be fair... The Swingle Singers does Deicide, for crying out loud!!! I know the Polaroids made the News of the World, but the Christmas album was a proper pig's ear!

I'm bored and nothing much seems to be going on anyway......

Can't believe this has been left out. It was my daughter that reminded me of this fine tune (Good on her )

A tragic loss, it seems that the best always die young........

Good old Feargal, once sat behind him on the Belfast Shuttle, giving it the occasional "Give us a song Feargal", "The Sheriff" , (aka a Mr Paisley) sitting across the aisle looking a little bemused.

Given the part of the county out your side of the A1 I'd say the Industrial Revolution?

You dont need a pub, you have your own. Needs must and all that. But you do have a zoo so I think you're winning.
