Default Blackened Suffolks

Hi Keith,

Up to now I have only seen one other badge of this type and that was a cheap repro on eBay. Is yours an OR's badge perhaps or blackened Officers?

Cheers Dean.

Real nice badges there Monty and Mooke07. Lovely to look at.

While you are all thinking "Suffolk" maybe someone would be good enough to pass an opinion on the possible authenticity of my hat badge. I realise that it is from a later period and is not as interesting as the others.

Sorry if this is an interruption to the existing thread..

Default The Suffolk Regiment

This badge also appears in Ray Westlake's book titled ENGLISH AND WELSH INFANTRY REGIMENTS, Page 43, badge #5. The sad part there is no reference to the badge numbers. A silvered version listed on eBay as a "Officer's Pagri Badge
(Oct 11, 2017) sold for about 71.00 GBP.
