I gave it a good go I have most of the items so i wasn't going to be silly I put in £188.00. Hope its gone to a good home . I also hope it wasn't a forum member as I had put up an interest in it and I wouldn't have bid so high as as said I have most of the group.

The Cap motto appears to be a Regimental copy of the earlier J&Co/Gaunt.... is it silver Mac?

17/21 Lancers Collection of items
Good afternoon
Yes, it did go to a Forum Member. And, yes it will have a very good home. Or rather one part of it will. I'm keeping only the small single collar. The large cap motto is die-pressed unmarked silver with two long and very original silver loops. A nice thing. The S/Ts are nice and in good condition, as is the pair of gilt (?) collars, and the nameplate. If anyone would like the rest, ie. the S/Ts, the pair of collars, the silver cap motto, and the name-plate, for a sensible sum, I'm more than happy to part with it all to a second happy home. No sensible offer will be refused. Send me a PM if you are interested. Obviously, I'd rather sell it off in one Lot rather than split it any further. Offered here first! Regards BB
