FAKE Middle East Commando Title
Fake ME Cdo title on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ww2-middle...-/272846308952 Fairly obvious, but I don't think I've ever seen a faked one before. The seller also trades as Spandau Militaria

Paul, thank you for brining this to the forums attention.
I wish more people would follow your initiative and highlight fakes being sold as original, clearly fraud and a criminal offence. Making a mistake or genuinely not knowing is defendable but I have no time for people selling fakes as original for profit when they know it is fake. It will be the ruin of the hobby that has given me (and 1000s of others) so much pleasure. Indeed, recently, I have noticed previously "reliable" dealers selling obvious fakes. A sad testimony to their ethics, morals and the state of our hobby. Spanmil - It is quite unbelievable why anyone buys from this seller! Did anyone see the steel helmet with painted Popski badge sold by Spanmil? What a load of rubbish, some unfortunate collector has been fooled with this and the other fakes the seller peddles... Please forgive my rant, just my two-penny worth, Keith
