Default Manitoba Volunteer Reserve

There were several groups organized in Canada for patriotic and home defence purposes. Many of these were formed by veterans or those unable to serve actively. The Manitoba Volunteer Reserve, one such organization, was badged and had a distinguishing armband. The cap badge is one of the scarcer WW2 issues. Here is an example of the armband.

A cap badge just went on ebay at a pretty good price to the buyer... hopefully someone on the forum managed to pick it up.
