Something to think about ?

It was formed in 1904 with the establishment of a cadet company at The Lodge School by schoolmaster Captain Radcliffe Hall. Soon after, Cadet Companies were formed at Harrison College and Combermere School. In 1912, these three school companies became affiliated with the Barbados Volunteer Force.

Each of the above had their own "Barbados Cadet Corp" badges , six pointed star with scroll , with their school/college shield .

So , did Harrison and Combermere have their own 'cadet' badges before affiliation ?

NOTE : The Combermere badge has a spelling error - Combermore

I wondered why I’d found 3 variations of central device. The affiliation with three different British schools makes sense.

So my money is on Lodge School Cadets.

Hopefully Alan has some background on the latter, my feeling are the badge may date 1930s-50s.

Lodge School state their motto is : "They can because they think they can".
