I've not even started my RND collection yet. Think I'm too much of a gibbering wreck with what I've read on here over the years to actually get started.

You can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter

The armoured car badge looks an awful lot like a current 9th/12th Lancers arm badge

If it is the one that Magpie alludes to and I think it is, that case has been on display on each occasion a certain small militaria fair has taken place for the past 2 years.

The case is quite nice though.

Regards

I sold this seller a RND Officer's 2nd pattern bronze cap badge (not the one in the frame) last year, I sold it clearly labelled as a COPY. Approx 3 weeks later he was selling it as genuine, I wrote to him and reminded him that it was a copy, he thanked me and said he would amend the description but as you can probably guess he did not.

Hard to tell from the picture but the badge for the Howe battalion does not appear to have a voided crown. I don't think this is a good sign. Looks a lot like the clunker I own.

Hi Paddy

This guy does not take notice of what he is told but at least he thanked you for your advice, but clearly did not heed it. I did not get a thank you for my advice, mind you telling him it was all rubbish probably did not help.

I wonder how long it will be on sale before some unsuspecting buyer steps in?

John
