Default BEDFORDSHIRE REGIMENT

I recently picked up this collar badge. It is slightly different from the collar badge in Churchill (526/527) and 80 in Churchill and Westlake. I am not sure whether it is an Officer's 5th Bn Bedfordshire collar or a Hertfordshire Yeomanry. I think the former but can anyone confirm this please.

Chris

Thanks Hoot. I can see it now, and I have just checked against my anodised Beds & Herts Yeo. I think I was thrown by lugs thinking it was a collar.

Chris, I think you should wrap both of them in cotton wool. I know they are not common badges but some of the prices asked for them are ridiculous. A certain former member of this forum who is a "dealer" was asking 325 quid for the anodized version so what he would ask for a silver-plated one is anybody's guess.
