Default question about the cheshire rgt badge

hi all
i have this victorian/edwardian cheshire rgt badge.
my question is, and it may be my eyes, but is the S smaller than the other letters?

It looks the same size to me, have you tried measuring it?

I just had a very quick look to see if there was anything notable, but, I really don't feel there actually is, they always appear much the same, quite frankly, it is not something that I have ever really thought about.
