My example looks like Tinto's as well. Mine had quite a bit of old age patina to it, enough that I felt the need to polish it up a bit. Unless proven otherwise, I think non domed badges can be genuine as well.

I have to be honest. I took some time last night to search for a replacement on what I believe are legit badge dealers on their web sites. And all the examples I saw up for sale had a flat fronted look to them. I'll keep looking for now and see if a domed one pop's up.
