Hi guys
3 of my latest badges after a light clean. Really pleased with how they and the pics turned out These are badges I bought simply because I liked them. Now they're some of my favourites! Cheers Colin

Nice first pattern Ayrshire yeo. It was worn by the IY but its use continued into WW1. I have a photo somewhere with it c.1915.

Alan: from what I understand, the 17th Company of the 6th (Scottish) Battalion of the Imperial Yeomanry was sponsored by Ayrshire and Lanarkshire Yeomanry;
did they use their respective cap badges throughout the war? Also - do you know when the 2 pattern was first issued? Thnx Colin
