MHS bulletin supplement
I have just received my Military Historical Society Bulletin package this morning which consisted of volume 74 No.294, the Special number for 2023 "The British Infantry Tunic 1855-1914" and an 8 page supplement on Restrikes, reproduction and fake cap badges or Entering the lions den! by Tim Withey.
Also the subscriptions leaflet for 2024 £20.00 for UK members. This has got to be a bargain for anyone who has an interest in militaria. I am now off to read it . . ! Rob Last edited by Sonofacqms; 16-11-23 at 11:03 AM. |

Very interested on the illustration on the inside back cover of the
2nd Lieutenant RWK wearing a station masters cap with an oversize white horse, larger and nothing like the regulars cap badge. Makes we wonder if the badge often described as a RKYeo arm badge/RV glengarry/Police is the same pattern? Caveat-it is a drawing. |

The tunic special is something I wanted for a while, to be able to properly date the different patterns
