Default Austin Motors ARP Badge

Been looking for this Austin Motors badge for a long time. Has anyone else ever seen it? Despite the size of the company, it seems to be a pretty hard-to-find badge...

Good luck with finding one.

I have been researching and collecting Industrial ARP badges for over forty years and have never recorded a definite Austin Motors example. Given the size of the company it seems strange that one has never surfaced.

The attached picture of an Austin Motors wartime service certificate however illustrates on the right a series of what appear to be a company ARP badge which does not carry the name Austin but does have different coloured backgrounds, a common way of indicating the different types of ARP service.

If you do come up with one please show it on the Forum.

Keep your eyes on http://homefrontcollection.com/ who come up with some excellent Home front items.

Just noticed that there looks like there should be a picture attached to your original post but it's not visible.

Is this the badge or just a general issue by Austin Motors?
When brought I was told it was works police.

Jerry, I was told that the one I had was for the motoring club. I sold it a few years ago.

Thanks for that pic. The item in the top corner looks exactly like the attached badge. There must have been multiple colours. This is a green one that surfaced on eBay many years ago but I was outbid. I've also seen a white one.
