In with a lot of badges from a house clearance. I am convinced that it is a fake. It is filthy and probably artificially aged. The pyramids on the background are rounded, the lugs are too far apart and it is not a crisp strike.

I agree, a very strange and I have to say, a brand new looking badge, I hope that the other badges were not like the one in the photograph.

I am not sure that it is brand new looking as it is absolutely filthy. The dealer had half a dozen badges that he claimed had come from a house clearance during the last two weeks. I only bought this one as I thought it was a scare badge despite its filthy appearance. Only on getting home this morning and checking the forum did I realise what a dud it was.

Caveat Emptor.

Well, I can only say what I see based solely upon the photographs and my opinion remains unchanged, a person can make something, anything whatsoever, yesterday, cover it in dirt, but, it would still be have been made yesterday.
The badge looks to be of very recent manufacture, with absolutely no age at all.
