Default ZAR fake badges?

Hi, this is going on auction this morning:

It all looks fake to me. Any other thoughts on this?

Fortunately , they are awful fakes , and very easy to avoid. That said, they might catch a novice collector who thinks that he is getting a bargain. In cases like this the auctioneer needs to be advised, and then monitored to see whether the offending lots are withdrawn. Any reputable auctioneer would withdraw the lots. Lets see how this plays out !
Regards
Mike

I would have to say that they are completely spurious, the badges and accoutrements made for the ZAR were manufactured here in Great Britain and those were not amongst them.

Hi Frank, thank you. Do you have copies of what was made for the ZAR? Have a great day. Andrew

I have certainly made a list of everything that I have come across during the time that I collected such things and I have never seen anything like that before, nor, I have to say, would I have ever expected to see anything even remotely like them either, a brief glance at their reverse should indicate any modern manufacture.
