Default Shoulder Title

After looking in a number of books I managed to identify the attached shoulder title and wanted to share it on the 'Forum' as I have never seen this one before.

Hull Grammar School Cadets

Destro

What a great find. I am always amazed when previously unknown items turn up especially shoulder titles as the presumption is that at one time there must have been a fair few in existance.

I have a brass title to Oakes Institute Cadets. I understand it was a private school in Liverpool which became part of the Alsop School. This is the only title for that school that I have ever seen and one that I am pleased to have in my collection.

Still stuff to be discovered out there.

P.B.

Destro,
Many thanks for posting this shoulder title.
I have not seen this example before so will be reaching for my books this weekend to try and learn more.

Peter,
I have an example of this title, maybe it's one from each epaulette!!
Thank you for providing some background history.

Nice to see these titles, appreciated.

Best wishes,
Pat

Forgive me but I am too old to be twisting my neck looking at photographs.
