Royal East Kent Mounted Rifles
An interesting inter squadron competition Medal the Royal East Kent Mounted Rifles.
It is marked silver on the rim I like this medal very interesting but have a greater interest in the Staffordshire Yeomanry should any one have an interesting trade offer |

Just bumping back to the top had hoped may have raised a comment or two for this uncommon item. May be as little as 40 ever made how many still out there very few is my thoughts.

Over 500 views and no comment from a Kent collector I must say I am a little surprised this is a rare item in our world of collecting. Does any one have an image of the mounted Rifles?

I’ve never understood why they were sometimes referred to as the REKMR and at other time REKY. I have a collar badge with the former but have never seen a cap badge. |

The Sharpshooters Museum has a very good website of the archives many of them photographed. You may find something similar on there.
