All I know is whats covered in Geberts Book. C1890s.

To the best of my knowledge they wore a plain QV crown collar badge and a plain button with only a circle in the centre. They also had a "Australian Natives Association" company with a kind of coat-of-arms badge.

keywords Defences Act 1895. I couldn't find it on a quick look now but have seen it previously.

Gives description of uniform. etc, don't recall that it goes into great detail on badges.

Thanks kingsley I'm pretty sure I have a pair of those crown collars somewhere so when I get home I will put them all together
