Default RNT button

Hi,
Does anyone know if the RNT button in old English characters stands for Royal Navy Trawler or Royal Navy Transport?

Thanks
Barry

Royal Museums Greenwich describes it as :

Quote:
Button , Royal Naval Reserve , Trawler Defence Section

Thanks for the link.
How much weight do we put in their description?

I found this old thread.

Maybe it is Transport?

Can't be many of these buttons around?

Barry
