Default BRCS Driver,FWW.

Art.IWM ART 3269,© The artist’s estate,Austin O. Spare.
Gift of the British Red Cross Society and Order of St John of Jerusalem, 1920.

A three quarter length portrait of a British Red Cross motor ambulance driver, standing directly in front of his vehicle. He wears BRCS uniform, with BRC insignia on his lower left arm, the rank of Sergeant on his upper arms and red cross markings on his cap and on an armband on his left arm.

Interesting, Austin Osman Spare is better known for more occult works of art.
