I have recently purchased from a seller, their father's bits and bobs from when he was in the 8th Army during WW2. One of these items was this badge.
As I am going half each with my father in law, I need to know what the value would be to buy one of these. I have looked all over the www with no success in finding a brass one for sale.
Would any one know the whereabouts of one of the same for sale, or what you would consider the value to be.
Where would this badge been worn.
The badge measures width : 30 mm x Height 35 mm
There is no signs of lugs being on the reverse. So it must have been sewn on to uniform using the two holes on either side of the base.
