You can simply buy an original with very considerable ease, assuming, of course , you are willing to pay for it, expect to pay around the £35/£45 mark.
I was just looking for feedback.....not assuming is was a Original or so. I'm here to learn and this kind of feedback isn't helping me much

Hello Edwin,
Please don't consider my post as feedback, nor, was it directed at you in a personal way, I simply made a short statement, but, quite frankly, it does annoy me that so many people buy these, as original items, when, very clearly, they are not, notwithstanding, matters are certainly not helped when "reputable" dealers start selling them quite deliberately.
The basic design is wrong, the crown is a fairly obvious giveaway, the material used is wrong, the manufacture is modern, the lugs are clearly wrong as are the sliders when used.
If you have bought the example you show, I would simply return it and get a refund.
Regards Frank

The image attached to the post is of an OR's badge as stated in the first sentence. It is an original cap badge.

The rest of the post describes officer's cap badges with similar flaws.

Sorry for any confusion.

Jack.
