Cameron Liverpool Scottish.
On checking this shoulder title against known examples it seems that some of the spaces within letters that make up the word Camerons have been left unvoided. Is this by design or through poor quality control? It seems to make no obvious sense in randomly leaving spaces unvoided.
Your thoughts please? |

I think this is just a mis-struck example or perhaps more correctly struck with insufficient force.
I do have an example ( the only one I have ever seen ) where there is no voiding at all behind the letters, but I am beginning to wonder if my title is spurious. P.B.

Peter,
thank you for the update. The collar title came in a parcel from a house clearance so I was happy with the provenance but was unsure about the lack of voiding. Simon |
