Default Unidentified Naval Special Warfare Insignia

Having exhausted both a fairly extensive reference library, and conducted a through Internet search, cannot determine the unit designation, or country of origin for the following two naval special warfare units which are illustrated in the relatively new book "COVERT SHORES". They appear to be somewhat stylized, as are the others in the same illustration. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The M/Z badge looks to be an Australian 'M' Special Force and 'Z' Special Unit Association badge.

The first badge is for the Fascist Italian Navy Decima Mas. I believe they were akin to Naval Commandos.

Indeed, they were the innovators of what we now consider to be Naval Special Forces, for anyone interested in the likes the following book is worth a read:

The Black Prince And The Sea Devils: The Story of Valerio Borghese and the Elite Units of the Decima MAS

Available on Amazon and the likes.

Gentlemen,
Sincere thanks to all for your prompt and knowledgeable replies. Event though outside the stated name of the forum, I knew many would have interest in these type of units. Incidentally, although not cheap (is anything any more), the book "COVERT SHORES" is an excellent reference on the total subject. Thanks once again.
