Default 88th Foot Gilt 22mm button

I have attached a photo of a Victorian 88th Foot 22 mm officers gilt button. Can someone tell me what dates this button was worn ? I couldn't find it in Ripleys.

In use between 1860 and 1881 according to Parkyn's 'Shoulder Belt Plates & Buttons'.

The Connaught Rangers by Jordan and Fraser, London 1926. Gives the same dates 1860-81.
