Default Poss RAC casualty Medals?...........or not.

FIRTH 1.jpg Purchased these many years ago at an Antique Centre, not a Militaria Dealer but general bits pieces Dealer! have always wondered about them............
Is it possible that they are correct?
Box is one of those opened incorrectly, not cut round but torn open from one end, there seems to be something missing as certificate says 4.1 (no medals ticked off)
The patina on Africa star doesn't match?....poss from being kept separate rather than force all bits back into box?
Medals never worn as ribbons perfect and folded still.
Return address on box IS RAC? (actual address is NOT Firth could there be a logical reason for this? but he was married??)
His name does appear on CWGC sight? Interred Catania War Cemetery Sicily.
46 (Liverpool Welsh) found little info.
Did try and research but couldn't find much.
Should I try a Medal Forum?? or are these just obviously 'wrong'.
