Modern RCA
I have heard that senior instructors from the RCA and officers wear WW1/WW2 style caps while on course. It appears that two of the officers are wearing brass cap badges, while the other two are wearing subdued OSD brown cap badges. Quite the contrast with the CADPAT uniforms, but looks good.

IG Hat
The IG Hat was documented in Service Publication's 'Fuss and fashion - 200 Years of Canadian Military Headdress' 2013 ISBN 978-1-894581-62-2. A look on Clive's website will reveal that this book is currently on sale.
