Yes matti, it must have been made the same time as the ROAC badge and buttons to have the same lugs so would this have been badge no 2 or made with it for the trials if the ROAC is supposed to be the first.

What a great find. The SWB in all gold is the same trial badge judging by the lugs, as the RAOC.

Do you think the same company made the badges as well as the Buttons, those buttons with the title are always being looked for.

I don't know marc, but I suppose they could have, I'm hoping chris may have an idea on this sleeper lot.

good spawny bit of work there mate . . congratulations!

To reiterate comments by good members above . . . they are still out there to find.

The SWB may well break a few moulds and theories. There were a few problems with early anodised buttons. One would suspect that they are the earliest versions.
