Malton Tri-Service Cadets confirmation?
In the Canadian board, I posted a query about a Malton Tri-Service Cadet title. It has been suggested that this title was for British cadets. Could someone confirm the identification. (There are hundreds of Canadian municipalities that are named after their British counterparts. It leads to some confusion at times.)

Bill
They mean having air, army and navy sections. However the uK terms for cadet forces that have sections from all 3 services has always been Combined Cadet Forces. It is always CCF or combined cadet forces used in unit names. CCFs are drawn from schools where as regional cadet units are single service. So if the Uk county of Malton had a cadet force then it would be an ACF or ATC or Navy cadets but in 3 detachments as part of 3 separate National organisations. |

Thanks for the explanation. Back to the original request then. The badge appears to be something for the Malton, Ontario cadets.
