Default Unknown Odds

Some other odds. Grateful for any assistance:

Photo 1
1. Irish bullion - but what is it and when?
2. embroidered on felt. No idea at all. 19 General Hospital RAMC
3. Foreign? Danish Army, Zealand Engineer Regiment collar badge, on a coloured backing indicating the battalion - so this is either 'Staff' (crimson) or '1st Battalion' (scarlet). Probably scarlet for the 1st Battalion.

Photo 2
RAF unusual TRF that came off a photographer. What?

Hi Ian

3. Danish Army, Zealand Engineer Regiment collar badge, on a coloured backing indicating the battalion - so this is either 'Staff' (crimson) or '1st Battalion' (scarlet). Personally I'd go with scarlet for the 1st Battalion.

(1991 Schöller, Carl-Gustav Hærens afdelingsmærker efter 1945 [Army departmental marks after 1945] pp. 222, 226 & Pl.6 #47).

Hope this helps

Graham
