69th Foot Pre-1855 Button by Gilpin
Just a word of warning if anyone here is bidding or thinking of bidding on these buttons.
Two apparently identical buttons have appeared within hours of each other on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/69th-South...EAAOSwIaFZIlFi and http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/69th-South...UAAOSwq1JZIVJW Both buttons have been listed by different new sellers registered within the last two days, so both with zero feedback, very similar looking IDs, one supposedly in Portsmouth, the other in Manchester. However, rather oddly they are both selling exactly the same 8 items!! Unless I am missing something, I suspect there is something funny going on here. At the very least it is very odd that two new sellers, miles apart, are selling exactly the same items. If I am missing something would someone please enlighten me! Roger

Yes, one of the items has been removed but the other remains. Having had another look, I see that the listing is actually one used by endici for the same button which they sold on 8th May. Identical listing even down to the (BS Nov 933) code that they used at the bottom of the description. Someone has just hijacked their listing to use it for their own purposes, almost certainly fraudulent. Roger

Yet another new ebay seller listing this same 69th Foot button originally sold by endici some weeks ago. Item number 252967845085.
This is the third time that this same button has appeared listed by 3 different sellers all using endici's exact listing description. Something very odd going on here! Roger PS UPDATE: Item has now been taken down by ebay! Last edited by Cribyn; 01-06-17 at 10:33 AM. Reason: PS Added
