Smile Perthshire Local Militia

Hi Gents,

I just wanted to share this lovely Royal Perthshire Local Militia button that just arrived. I do love LM button but even more so when they are as lovely as this one. In gilt and by Charles Jennens.

Cheerio,

Roy

Very nice, Roy, and such a clear backmark as well. You do find all the nice ones don't you!

Thanks Gents,

Quite pleased indeed with this little beauty.

The back mark was a little grubby and difficult to read when I got it, so a little time with a toothbrush, soap and warm water soon took care of that. Didn't need to touch the front thank goodness.

I still find it amazing that after 200 plus years some buttons can be found in this condition.

Cheerio,

Roy
