2 PARA

I have found this picture of 2 PARA in ex-Yugoslavia. They wear an ISAF (?) badge I have never seen. 2 PARA were in Macedonia, not in Bosnia and Kosovo, I believe. Have you any explanations about this badge ?

2 Para were in Bosnia, I remember their "B" or "C" Company (Gurhkas) at Banja Luka in 1999 or 2000.

It looks like a rough neighbourhood as the armoured vehicle appears to be balanced on rocks as someone has nicked the wheels.

Could be a Mission Rehearsal Exercise prior to going to Afghanistan.

It's likely to be Kabul on Op FINGAL, the first ISAF mission in Jan-Apr 2002.
