Hello all,

I picked these 4 up this morning at a fair. I think/hope that they're ok but would appreciate input from the hive mind of this forum!

Cheers

Steve

I have a couple of 20th London's which are one piece strikings, a couple with attached scrolls like your one, I believe there's some doubt as to the authenticity of the latter.
Having said that, a quick search of the forum has shown a threadsuch a badge being judged "OK".

Thanks for that Lee. I had a look around too & thought it was ok but I wanted to make sure, especially as that's the one that cost the most!

The Westmoreland Yeomanry is a widely faked badge as it was one of the Yeomanry regts that was re-roled post Ww1 and badged RA.

However yours looks to be correct.

Thanks Alan. Of all the badges that I got yesterday, that was the one I was most confident on. I decided to post it for the opinions of others as there have been other badges that I've been confident about that have proven to be completely wrong!

The Paddington Rifles is as far as I'm aware a copy , some good threads on this badge on the forum, it's a widely copied badge and guniune ones are quite scarce and expensive(I'm still waiting for a good one my self) I also think the 16th London's may be a copy unfortunately, let's wait to hear from more learned members to confirm
