Default Three Small Shropshire Buttons

Hi Chaps,

If proof were needed that beautiful things come in small packages - I have some recent finds to share with you.

A little good fortune has found three very small Shropshire buttons come my way.

A gilt (King's) Shropshire Light Infantry (with threaded post).
A silver (King's) Shropshire Light Infantry (came in a group of four).
A gilt Shropshire Yeomanry.

All Victorian and all very welcome additions.

Cheerio,

Roy

Very nice, Roy, thanks for sharing.

I particularly like the "Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry" button - have I read that right?

Roger

Hi Roger,

Thanks for that. And yes you are correct 'Shropshire Yeomanry Cavalry' (as apposed to 'Imperial'. A lovely button indeed.

Funny my latest Shropshire finds should all be so small.

Cheerio,

Roy

Hi Roger,

Here is a larger image of the SYC button. As you can see the definition is not too great, understandable as the button is only 16.7mm. However something about this example caught my eye, so very pleased with it.

Cheerio,

Roy
