Took a closer look at your nursing display and the middle badge is a WWII item. These were issued c.1940 and replaced in 1944 with the nickle/white metal badges. This last issue had the cap badge on a brooch pin and facing collars on lugs. Prior to 1944 the SAMNS never wore collar badges. Steven |
