Hi Jon

These are I believe are still currently worn by the Royal Dragoon Guards (top) & the Queens Royal Hussars (below).

They both appear IMO to be Other Ranks cap badges.

The RDG badge is an O/R's upgrade available from their PRI and the QRH badge appears to be a standard Cap Badge in Bright Metal, both made by Firmin.

I suspect they both date from the mid 1990's, and the QRH might be an early issue as I think later issues were made by LB&BCo.

Just my opinion. Sorry to rain on your parade If I'm right I hope you didn't pay too much for them.

Rob

Hi Jon
The Royal Dragoon Guards is c1995 but was worn by other ranks not sure if officers wore the same as well.
The Queens Royal Hussars is Other ranks not Officers, I show you an Officers badge.

Thank you gentlemen.
They are stunning badges,I can see why people seek the officers versions, if even the ORs are that nice.
My Jimmy never looked that good.
Thanks for sharing.
