Are they not Royal Fusiliers with a white hackle. RNF had red over white.

I think the image is later than the coronation, and likely post 59. I think they are Lancashire Fusiliers wearing the Fusiler Brigade badge.
The pipers standing in the rear are Black Watch Paul Cancel that, the soldier on the left front seems to have an ST with RF on it so George is right RRF. I thought it may be Cyprus but most likely Korea. Last edited by Paul Spellman; 25-06-16 at 09:42 AM. |

Was this style of helmet worn by man in foreground still in use late '50s ? Were not the "turtle" shape in general use by then?
