Default Indian Insignia

That insignia looks familiar!.....I have a couple that came with some Italian Campaign maps+ overlay+ very well used, burnt, pinned multi folded German map+Artillery 'charts' (I think)+one Royal Artillery shoulder title...........will have to post pics of insignia....never sure whether genuine or not.

Fits nicely with my maps, etc...think owner was veteran who served in Royal Artillery and was attached to the 8th Indian Division during the Italian Campaign....My pair do look very much like the one in colour photo.

That doesn't look like King George VI, has the IWM added the wrong description to the picture ????

So it is! He looked rounder in the face than I think of His Majesty being but that's a pretty convincing argument, Tinto! Well spotted.
