Default Could anyone identify this button?

Hi a friend found this today in NZ and i dont recognise it
made by BUTTONS LTD B'HAM 2 crossed swords

Any help identifying it will be greatly appreciated

Hello

Just a generic civil 'Government' button used by a lot of organisations that didn't have their own pattern of button. May have a military connection but again not linked to a specific unit in my view.

I agree with Roger.

It could date anywhere between 1907 (when Buttons Ltd was founded) to 1952.

I haven't checked Corbett but I doubt if it's shown in there as having any particular military connection.
