Canadian made?
Pardon my ignorance. Could these be of Canadian manufacture?

Canadian wings usually had a crown above them and RCAF underneath.

Sure. But weren't some RAF wings manufactured in Canada?

I'd agree the bottom two are British pattern of Canadian manufacture. The top one is British made.

SAS1, how do you tell the difference between a Canadian-made one and a British-made one?

I am with SAS. Bottom 2 Canadian made. The thread to the front gives it away as non Brit (my humble opiion). Eagles Recalled is a good reference book. You look at enough wings you can usually tell which are Canadian made.

I have a stack of Canadian made Navigator 1/2wing.
They were sold to me by the lady who manufactured them (end of war surplus I guess). They look just like yours. |
