Default Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars

Does any member have (or have access to) the World War 2 history of the QOOH? I'm trying to identify the CO as at the spring of 1945. Thanks. Mike

Thomas,
Absolutely on target - very many thanks. I was amazed to note that given all his other responsibilities, GOC Second Army took time out to invite
the CO of the QOOH to tea in his HQ (!) to tell him that he was relieved of command and posted to 21 ATk Regt RA - as 2IC. He had been in the QOOH for 17 years and CO from May 42 to Dec 44. He must have been a bit upset! His successor, a Regular RA Lt Col (DSO and MC) arrived four days later and assumed command. Mike
