Hi all

Just want to confirm a dates for this cloth Title issued and worn, would it be from 1959 when it was amalgamated with Suffolk Regt forming 1st East Anglian Regt?

Actually could be an early 50's title?

cheers

Phill

The title wouldn't be worn by the new regiment.
Possibly still worn TA bns of the R. Norfolk's though?

Black on Yellow ROYAL NORFOLK sealed on 22/5/1964, no details of who for on the card.

The Royal Norfolk's black on yellow title was approved for post-war wear by the War Office Dress Committee at their meeting on 30th April 1952, a decision communicated to the Regiment on 8th May 1952. Supplies were not immediately available. They were officially introduced by List of Changes Change C5523 on 30th September 1953.

An example as worn by the TA Battalion in 54th Division is attached.
