Default 17th Lancers

Good afternoon

Can this button be dated to Victorian period or WW1 by the backstamp. Or is it later? I've seen the same backstamp design on Victorian buttons by this company but does anyone know when they stopped using the decorations around the shank recess.

Many thanks

Martyn

The backstamp dates it to the 1880s by the looks of it.
