Some great items. I had a visit to the Kings Regiment collection this morning whilst in Liverpool with some time to spare, unfortunately the lighting in the new Liverpool Museum is so poor,it is difficult both to clearly see a lot of the exhibits or to take any decent photographs.

I've found this with some museums; not only poor lighting but deep display cabinets, often with smaller, more difficult-to-see exhibits placed right at the back, causing them to be even more obscured than they might otherwise be.

Not an easy task I should imagine though, trying to make the most of limited space and resources.
