Canada's Joint Task Force 2
A serving Canadian sniper, recently managed a record breaking kill in Iraq, a truly amazing 3540 meters!
I wish, both him and his observer, continued success and a safe journey home to their families. Last edited by Frank Kelley; 22-06-17 at 07:23 PM. |

At the 25m range I could get all my rounds under a 2 pence coin. At 200m, all into the head of a figure 11. At 600m most into a figure 11.
I can't even imagine 3000m plus. These days I probably couldn't see a person at 3Km, never mind landing a round within 500m of them. The individual concerned has my utmost respect. Ian H |

An astonishing shot for sure.
These days I'm just happy if I get rounds on the target ... at any range.. Cheerio, Roy

In that case, perhaps, Roy, you need to buy a Macmillan TAC 50?

Unbelievable, 3.5 KM away and the shot takes 10 seconds to hit, its like shooting a missile...

It is indeed, quite a remarkable achievement and takes the record away from a very talented British soldier.
