Mike, did each flying school have its own wings or did some of them use the generic BCATP wings?

David that is the puzzle! A lot of information is still buried and we are working on digging it out of archives. Many badges were made for the different schools without authorization prior to the standardization of the EFTS uniform in 1943.
As for the BFTS wings, they were a bit different. I have no info on these as the BFTS was a collection of 6 schools in the United States using a mix of US Civil instructors and RAF instructors...... I don't have access to the US or RAF archives to access the documents, yet. I am aware of specific wings worn at $1 BFTS in Terrell Texas and #5 in Clewiston as well as cap badges. I don't know as of yet what the other schools wore, if there were any specific badges worn at all!

Thanks Mike. Where is the Thank You button when you need it?
